Quality concerns driving doctors to become entrepreneurs in and around New Delhi

New Delhi is the heart of medical science and development in India, chiefly due to the presence of AIIMS that churns out great doctors of deep knowledge every year. It is closely followed by Bangalore and Mumbai, although it still secures its no. 1 position as the medical hub of India. Its great connectivity with the rest of the world also matters since anyone from any part can fly in at times of urgency.

Looking at the huge demand for quality specialists, the doctors and medical practitioners have gone into entrepreneurship at the capital. If a non-technical businessman is heading a clinic, often there have been quality issues. Due to poor understanding of the nitty-gritty on the technical side, and more out of profit making efforts, many patients have suffered and there have been fatal cases as well. Many of these clinics have been even dragged to the courts.

Thus, there was a need to have specialist clinics for urologist in Pitampura and other adjoining areas of the capital in order to cater to a huge need of the growing population. The new clinics follow the basic mandatory rules and regulations that are required to ascertain the quality of services.

Being an entrepreneur for a medical practitioner, it is good for the society since the top head can be patient and compassionate towards the patients coming in from all over the country. Availability of basic amenities like hotels and food for the family members coming in from distant places have made it easier for the clinics for urologist in Dwarka to operate. Thus, New Delhi is having an edge over the other medical hubs in India to cater to the patients of trans-India.
